After years of rented facilities and storage units, moving time and time again (not to mention the hundreds of students needing a place to be trained), it is apparent to us that owning land and building a permanent facility is the way to go! Months of research in the Delhi area has rendered very little-despite French Riviera prices - land comes up and is gone in days due to high demand. INDIA OFFICE RELOCATION AND EXPANSION
We were recently informed that Janak Puri, the area of Delhi where Supreme Task India offices are located is marked for demolition. We have needed to expand our office space for quite a while so this will get us moving! Our office staff of four can no longer work in the one room area we are currently utilizing. As you can imagine this is the hub of all we do and it is in need of some attention. SUPREME TASK HOSPITAL UPDATE
The process of refurbishing the facility is under way with a new roof already installed, cracks in the ceilings and walls have been repaired and painting has begun. The need right now is to outfit the hospital with the basic supplies and equipment that would enable us to expand beyond eye care to meet more of the general health needs of the public.
